Kalibrate User Guides

1. Navigate to the Asset Details

• Select Library – using the library drop list select one of the available libraries in the system
• Select Asset to Edit – using either the Thumbnail View or the List View, click the edit button to view the details -
   

2. Asset Details

• Asset Properties – this will show information about the asset such as name, file type, the dimensions of the image, file size, plus you can see where the asset is being used.
   

3. Edit Asset Information

• Title – change or update the title of the asset
  Please Note: In the title of the image please don't use any special characters.
• ALT Tag – change or update the alt tag attribute for the asset
• Tags– change or update tags related to the asset.
  Please Note: This feature may not be utilized within your web environment and may not appear on the screen.
• Classification – change or update the asset classifications
  Please Note: This feature may not be utilized within your web environment and may not appear on the screen.
  
  
• [UPDATE] – updates the media asset information
• [CANCEL] – cancels the process
   

4. Upload a New File

• Upload New File – click the button to change out or replace the current asset with a new file.

Things You Should Know...
If the asset is being used on several pages and you upload a new file to replace the current one it will overwrite and the old file will be replaced on the pages listed.

 

• Page Refresh - once you click upload new file the page will refresh and will ask you to upload the file.
• Browse to Find File – click browse to locate the file on your computer. Select the file you wish to upload and the path to the file will populate in the text box. The file can be an image, a pdf document,  a flash/shockwave movie, a word document, etc...

• [UPLOAD] – click to upload the new file to the server.
